Background:
Rags to Witches is a collaborative 10-Week Game Dev Project between myself and four other team members studying at SCAD. We spent the first two weeks conceptualizing the overall idea and also the main game design, mechanics, art direction, etc. (which of course, changed a bunch over our development cycle). We then also lost two weeks due to members attending GDC and time spent reworking our art direction and game design, so technically this was more like a six-week sprint!
Game Blurb:
You are a witch working at the Magical PSA (Portal Safety Authority), confiscating banned items and secretly taking them home to use at your personal workshop at night for crafting black-market goods. You are seriously indebt after attending Witches' University, and a girls gotta make her money somehow.

Highlights & Core Features:
Luggage Check:
Working at the terminal during the day phase, players must scan the luggage of X number of passengers per day. When luggage goes through the scanner, the player may attempt to steal the objects inside as ingredients for crafting.
Potion Brewing:
Players can see all the ingredients they've stolen. By adding ingredients to the cauldron, players can craft specific potions.
Running a Potion Shop:
Customers will periodically arrive to browse the stock you have set out. When a potion is set down in the shop, you can set the price it should sell for.
Personal Contributions

3D Assets:
I did some of the 3D modeling and texturing throughout the game, but also did the game's graphics and UI elements.
You can check out all of my personal contributions and dev logs over on my BlueSky!
